Zakład Wyrobów Metalowych CARBONEX is a Polish company in the market of mining of mining tools since 1994. He specializes in the manufacture of mining tools used in mining coal, lignite and copper ore. A wide range of products offered includes: knives combine, knifed handles, sleeves knife, hexagonal rods, and spiral handles for rotary drilling, percussion drilling crowns and abutments.
Zakład Wyrobów Metalowych CARBONEX also cooperates with universities.Some of them are University of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow and Wroclaw University of Technology. Jointly conducted research projects, development and implementation works. In cooperation with universities carry out many research and educational projects that help build us a competitive advantage at the market.

We offer precision milling various kinds of conventional milling and CNC 4-axis.
- conventional milling parts with maximum dimensions 750x350x300mm,
- milling on CNC milling parts with maximum dimensions 1000x500x600mm.
We offer welding services using the MIG method with a high quality guarantee. The welding licenses we have gained allow us to weld steel constructions designed to work in a temperature as low as -40 oC in a full size range from 5 mm to 120 mm and which can undergo inspection. We hold the DNV Certificate and our welds meet requirements of non-destructive tests NDT.
We specialise in joining steel with carbide in a process of hard soldering. We offer soldering of various metal elements. Materials used in the process are of highest quality. Our crew members have necessary experience to deal even with the most precise tasks.
We offer surface and shaft grinding. We complete orders for both low and high volume production using our own material as well as entrusted goods.
centerless grinding in a ø3 mm - ø30 mm diameter range with the max. length of 110 mm.,
surface grinding with the maximum size of 500 mm x 200 mm,
hole grinding with the maximum outer diameter of ø200 mm and maximum length of 500 mm and maximum diameter of 200 mm, maximum length 250 mm,
form grinding (e.g. profile rolls) with the maximum outer diameter of ø120 mm.
We offer precision lathing using both conventional and numerical control machines.
CONVENTIONAL LATHES
- diameter range up to 350 mm and up to 1600 mm in length,
- diameter range up to 50 mm and up to 6000 mm in length,
- diameter range up to 1250 mm and up to 4230 mm in length.
CNC MACHINES
- diameter range up to 350 mm and length up to 1500 mm,
- diameter range up to 70 mm and length up to 6000 mm.
We offer toughening tool steel, alloy steel and low alloy steels. Heat treatment was performed on the elements whose total weight does not exceed 400 kg and maximum dimensions do not exceed the dimensions: width 800 mm, height 500 mm, length of 1500 mm.
